Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), which is touted to be the world’s “first rear quad camera” smartphone, was launched in India on Tuesday. The A9 features a 6.3-inch display, an octa-core processor, 128 GB internal memory (expandable up to 512GB), and 3,800mAh battery. It will be available in two versions — 6GB and 8GB RAM. The rear quad-camera set up includes a main camera (24MP), telephoto (10MP), ultra Wide (8MP) and depth (5MP). The phone has a 24MP front camera.

The Galaxy A9 (2018) sports a 6.3-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor which is paired with Adreno 512 GPU. The phone ships with the in-house Experience 9.0 based Android Oreo. In terms of battery capacity, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) offers a 3800mAh battery and supports fast charging technology. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) price in India is tipped to be around Rs. 35,000.
