The 2018 Commonwealth games start on 04th April Wednesday at the gold coast village, Austrailia. The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games will be held from April 04 to 15 2018 and will be the largest and most exciting event the gold coast has ever hosted and the largest event in Austrailia in a decade. More than 4500 athlete’s from 71 nations and territories will compete for 275 gold medals at the Commonwealth Games. Gold Coast also 2018 also includes the largest ever programme of disability sports at commonwealth games. More than 2.4 billion people- nearly a third of the world will be represented over 12 days of Australia.

India will aim to showcase its status as rising a sports power with an expected rich medal in the 21st commonwealth games. With a massive of 222 contingent, India looks to better their previous Commonwealth Games medal. India had collected 64 medals (15 gold, 30 silver, and 90 bronze) in the previous CWG held in Glasgow and country will expect better that performance at gold coast.
