Femina Miss India 2018 has finally got its three new faces, with the glamorous finale last night. Miss Anukreethy Vas from Tamil Nadu was declared the winner of the 55th edition of Femina Miss India 2018 Pagent held at Dome, NSCI Stadium, whereas Meenakshi Chaudhary from Hariyana and Miss Shreya Rao from Andhra Pradesh bagged the first and Second runner-up positions respectively.

Hosted by Karan Johar and Ayushmann Khurrana, the evening also witnessed the power-packed performance by Bollywood divas Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. The judges’ panel also included Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, who along with Miss United Continents 2017 Sana Dua, and Miss Intercontinental 2017 Priyanka Kumari crowned their respective successors. The participants were divided into four zones (regions) with one mentor for each zone which were Neha Dhupia (Femina Miss India 2002) for North Zone, Rakul Preet Singh (Femina Miss India 2011-Runner-up) for South Zone, Pooja Chopra (Miss India World 2009) for East Zone and Pooja Hegde (Miss Universe India 2010) for West Zone. The 30 participants were judged by Miss World 2017 and former Miss India Manushi Chillar, cricketers K L Rahul and Irfan Pathan, actors Bobby Deol, Kunal Kapoor, Malaika Arora Khan, Bollywood’s top fashion designer Gaurav Gupta and Indian journalist Faye D’Souza.Winner Anukreethy Vas who hails from Tamil Nadu is a 19-year-old student pursuing BA in French from Loyola college and her interest lies in modelling and acting. Vas will go on to represent India on international beauty pageants. The winner, Anukreethy Vas will now represent India at Miss World 2018. The two runners-up will represent the country at Miss Grand International 2018 and Miss United Continents 2018 respectively.
